Governor Seyi Makinde, his counterpart from Ogun state, Prince Dapo Abiodun and the Olubadan-designate, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin have arrive Mapo, venue of the coronation.
The two governors arrive at about 2PM to the awaiting crowd to the applause of the guests and visitors.
The monarch, apparently coming from seclusion arrive the venue about 20mins earlier and was welcome by the traditional drummers.
His arrival was announced with his sobriquet, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin, Ige Olakulehin 1.
Oba Olakulehin who was brought in a black jeep waited in the car until the arrival of the governor before they both enter the grand stage.
The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar were among top monarchs and traditional rulers present at the event.
With the arrivals, the event is scheduled for official takeoff.
