The Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland and former governor of Oyo State, Oba Rasidi Ladoja has arrived the Oyo State Central Eid Prayer Ground, Agodi Gate, Ibadan.
The former governor arrived at about 9:50AM in company of the Senator representing Oyo South, Sharafadeen Alli politicial associates, aides amongst others.
Oba Ladoja is representing the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin.
The arrival of Ladoja to the prayer ground, which to some of the faithful was surprising, generated a lot of excitement, as the former governor has not been at the ground for prayer for many years.
Over the years, the former governor had observed the Eid prayers at the University of Ibadan (UI) prayer ground.
It was gathered that the former governor stopped attending prayers at the Agodi Prayer ground following a political crisis that broke out between some of his supporters and those of a late political leader, Lamidi Adedibu while the latter holds sway as a political warlord.
