The Oyo State government has charged Civil servants to emulate the selfless, passionate, and hardworking approach of Mrs. Nancy Muraina, the outgoing Permanent Secretary of the Oyo State Youth Agency.
This advice was given by the Chairman of the Agency, Falana Adebowale, during Mrs. Muraina’s retirement program held at the Oyo State Government Secretariat in Agodi, Ibadan.
Falana Adebowale praised Mrs. Muraina’s dedication and tireless efforts, which have been instrumental in shaping the lives of countless young people in the state.
He described her leadership and vision as a beacon of hope and noted that her contributions to the agency will continue to have a lasting impact.
Falana Adebowale also promised to leverage Mrs. Muraina’s wealth of experience for mentorship and youth development in the state.
The Head of Service, Mrs. Olubunmi Oni, described Mrs. Muraina as a caring, jovial, intelligent, and diligent individual who has consistently demonstrated exceptional work ethic.
She charged Mrs. Muraina to maintain her good character and take care of her health in retirement.
Other dignitaries, including Dr. Oyewole Aremu, Permanent Secretary of Ibadan Health Office Zone 1, also paid tribute to Mrs. Muraina’s remarkable service.
In her farewell remarks, Mrs. Muraina expressed gratitude to Governor Engr. Seyi Makinde for the opportunity to serve and advised her successor to uphold integrity and avoid shady dealings.
She also announced plans to continue working in consultancy and youth development after retirement.
The event served as a celebration of Mrs. Muraina’s remarkable career and a reminder to civil servants of the importance of selfless service and dedication to duty.
