Governor Seyi Makinde on Friday presented the staff and instrument of office to Oba Owolabi Olakulehin as the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland.
He made the presentation in exercise of his right and duty as the governor.
Presenting the staff of office, Governor Makinde said “I, Governor Seyi Makinde by the powers
Conferred upon me by sub sections 1 and 2 of section 20 of the Chief Law 28, Volume 1 laws of Oyo state of Nigeria 2000.
“By virtue of all other powers enable in the behalf hereby present the staff of office Gratify the appointment of Oba Abidoye Owolabi Olakulehin As the 43th Olubadan of Ibadan land.”
Responding briefing in his acceptance speech, Oba Olakulehin thanked President Bola Tinubu, Governor Seyi Makinde,and other individuals who made the occasion possible.
The event is ongoing at Mapo, Ibadan and attended by dignitaries from both within and outside the state.
