Days after his resignation as the Chief of Staff to Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi, was on Tuesday in attendance at the manifesto presentation of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Senator Sharafadeen Alli, in Ibadan.

At the event held at the Emeritus Professor Theophilus Ogunlesi hall, Ogunwuyi was among dignitaries attending the programme, where Alli unveiled his development agenda, tagged Oyo AHEAD (Itayo Oyo), to stakeholders ahead of the 2027 governorship election.

Although, Ogunwuyi has not made known his next political port, his appearance at the event is raising concern and hightening curiosity as to the speculations as to the political rift with the governor.

Ogunwuyi’s resignation was followed by the appointment of Akinwale Akinwole, popularly known as Wolekanle, as his successor.

Ogunwuyi’s presence at the APC candidate’s manifesto presentation has drawn attention to his political activities following his exit from Makinde’s government.

However, his attendance at the event does not, on its own, establish that he has joined the APC or endorsed Alli’s governorship ambition.
