The President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Archbishop Wale Oke; the PFN National Vice-President, Southwest, Bishop Taiwo Adelakun; the Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Oyo State, Rev. Dr Elisha Ogundiya; and the PFN Chairman in Oyo State, Rev. Samson Ajetomobi are among top Christian leaders to minister at a five day crusade billed to commence in Ibadan on Wednesday.

At the event, the Oyo state capital city will host other Nigeria’s Christian leaders and gospel ministers at the crusade which seeks to draw participants from across the country.

The gathering, tagged, “Jesus Ibadan City Mega Crusade,” is being organised by “For His Glory Evangelistic Ministries” in conjunction with all churches in Ibadan and is scheduled to hold from November 4 to 8, 2026, at the Obafemi Awolowo Stadium, Ibadan, beginning at 4.30 pm daily.

The programme will also feature musical performances by gospel artistes Lilian Nneji, Esther Igbekele and Pelumi Deborah, alongside Bois Olorun and The Dentons.

The organisers unveiled details of the programme during a press conference held on Monday at Men of Issachar Vision, Olororo, Ojoo, Ibadan.

Speaking at the briefing, the President of For His Glory Evangelistic Ministries, Rob Welch, said the crusade was aimed at creating an opportunity for spiritual renewal and strengthening the Christian faith through evangelism, worship and prayer.

Welch said, “Our desire is to see lives transformed through the message of Jesus Christ. This gathering is not simply about bringing people together for a religious programme; it is about creating an atmosphere where people can encounter God, renew their faith and experience spiritual transformation.”

He added that the ministry was committed to taking the gospel beyond the walls of churches and reaching people from different backgrounds with the message of hope and salvation.

Also speaking, the Chairman of the Central Working Committee of the Jesus Ibadan City Mega Crusade, Pastor Obafemi Olofin, said arrangements were being made to ensure the smooth coordination of the five-day programme.

Olofin said, “We are working towards ensuring that everything required for a successful crusade is put in place.

“Our expectation is that people from different parts of Ibadan, Oyo State and beyond will participate in the programme and that the gathering will achieve its spiritual objectives.”

He said the committee was focused on mobilisation and the necessary organisational arrangements ahead of the commencement of the crusade.

The Chairman of the Advisory Board/Committee of the crusade, Apostle Sunday Popoola, was also present at the press conference.
