Oyo NAWOJ congratulates Newly elected NAWOJ National President

The Executive of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalist, Oyo State Chapter has sent a congratulatory message to the newly elected NAWOJ National President, Aisha Ibrahim, who emerged winner after the just concluded election.

 

In the letter conveying the congratulatory message signed by the Chairperson, Comrade Jadesola Ajibola, Oyo NAWOJ said it believes that the administration of the newly elected president will impact all Nawojians across the the country.

 

Comrade Jadesola thus assures Aisha Ibrahim of the cooperation of the members of Oyo NAWOJ towards achieving a greater NAWOJ while praying that God crown every effort of the newly elected president with great success.

 

In the same vein, Oyo NAWOJ also felicitates with the re-elected deputy president, Lilian Okonkwo Ogabu, National Secretary, Wasilah Ibrahim-ladan, Treasurer, Fatimah Rasheed, Financial Secretary, Ifeoma Aka, Assistant Secretar, Aisha Cole, and Auditor, Jemilah Abubakar.

 

Comrade Jadesola also congratulated the newly elected vice president and Zonal Secretary, Adeola Adekunle and Adeola Adewole respectively, welcoming them on board and assuring them of the support and cooperation of Oyo NAWOJ.

 

She thus urged the newly elected executives to focus on building the NAWOJ that every member craved for in unity and progress now that elections are over.

 

The letter reads in part “We the Executive members of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, Oyo state Chapter congratulates President Aisha Ibrahim for emerging winner in the just concluded election.

 

“We believe that your administration will impact all NAWOJIANs across the country and you will be successful.

 

“We pray that God Almighty will crown all your efforts with great success now and always.

 

“We assure you of our cooperation as your team works towards achieving a greater NAWOJ.

 

“We also felicitate with the re-elected deputy President, Lilian Okonkwo Ogabu, the national Secretary, Wasilah Ibrahim-ladan, Treasurer, Fatimah Rasheed, Financial secretary, Ifeoma Aka, Assistant secretary, Aisha Cole, and Auditor Jemilah Abubakar.

 

“Our newly elected Vice President Adeola Adekunle and Zonal Secretary Adeola Adewole, we welcome you on board and assure you of our support and cooperation

 

“We believe that elections are over and we have to continue to build the NAWOJ we craved for in unity and progress.
