The Bishop, Ibadan North Anglican Diocese, Dr Williams Aladekugbe has said disobedience to the country’s constitution and lack of unity among Nigerians as the causes of the current challenges facing the country.

He gave the charge while delivering a sermon at the Cathedral of St. Peter Aremo, Ibadan, on Sunday.

He urged Nigerians to renew their love and belief in the country and work towards its unity as a nation, if the country must move forward.

The Bishop appealed to the people, particular Nigerians to stop the rushing for riches, promotion, position at the expense of the interest of their fellow, but rather wait for their own time as demonstrated by disciples after the ascension of Jesus Christ when they eventually received the Holy Spirit, which later ignited spiritual empowerment and other gifts of life.

He further enjoined the faithful to seek and obey the holy spirit whom he described as the comforter, teacher, advocate and the giver of all gifts.
