Leaders of the People Democratic Party (PDP) in the Southwest are currently meeting in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital city.
Some of the leaders in attendance at the meeting which has been on in a closed door for over three hours include, Governors Seyi Makinde (Oyo), Ademola Adeleke (Osun), Chief Bode George, former Ondo state governor Dr Olusegun Mimiko, the 2023 Ogun state governorship candidate, Oladipupo Adebutu, among others.
The closed door session which has been on in the last three hours is still ongoing as at the time of this report.
Sources hinted that the meeting bothers on the unity and progress of the party in the region.
The meeting is ongoing at the Presidential Lodge of the Oyo State Government House, Agodi, Ibadan with representatives from across the region.
