One of those severely injured from the accidents that occurred Tuesday morning at Soka Area of the Ibadan-Lagos Expressway, Ibadan has died.
The death bring to five, the number of casualty recorded in the accident.
It was gathered that some others who are receiving medical attention at undisclosed hospitals are responding to treat.
Corenews reports that tragedy struck Tuesday morning around Soka Area of Ibadan when multiple vehicles were involved in a crash.
It happened when a trailer was said to be reversing, hoping to enter the Expressway but was hit by another oncoming trailer.
The accident involved seven vehicles including: two Nissan Micra taxi, two trucks, one tanker and two Toyota Camry car.
Oyo State Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps, Mrs. Rosemary Alo confirmed the incident and the death toll.
As at the time of this report, offices of the FRSC and men of the Oyo State Road Transport Management Authority (OYRTMA) are busy clearing the wreckage with the deployment of cranes and towing vehicles.
