Sunday Igboho console Oba Alao on death of mother

Yoruba Nation Activist, Chief Sunday Adeyemo also known as Sunday Igboho has commiserated the Olugbon of Orile-Igbon, Oba Francis Alao on the death of his mother, Deaconess Margaret Oyeronke Alao who passed at the age of 81.

 

Igboho in a statement by his Spokesperson, Olayomi Koiki said the death marks the end of a life dedicated to faith, service, and love for her family and community.

 

He added that Mama Alao’s departure is a great loss not only to the family but also to the entire Yoruba community, noting that her life was a beacon of faith, humility, and service.

 

While praying for God’s comfort to surround Oba Alao, the royal family, and all who mourn the irreplaceable loss, Igboho also extends his prayers for strength and unity within the family as they honor the life and memory of a virtuous woman who touched many lives.

 

He further calls upon the Yoruba people and the larger community to join in prayers and support for the Olugbon and his family during this trying time.

 

The statement reads in part, “Dr. Chief Sunday Adeyemo Igboho expresses his profound sorrow and heartfelt condolences to His Royal Majesty, Oba Francis Alao, the Olugbon of Orile-Igbon, on the loss of his cherished mother, Deaconess Margaret Oyeronke Alao.

 

“The passing of Deaconess Alao at the age of 81 marks the end of a life dedicated to faith, service, and love for her family and community. As a devout Christian and partner in ministry with her late husband, Pastor Amos Alao, she exemplified a life of sacrifice and devotion to the work of God.

 

“Together, they shepherded numerous churches under the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), leaving an enduring legacy of spiritual growth and inspiration across many communities.

 

“Mama Alao’s departure is a great loss not only to the family but also to the entire Yoruba community, as her life was a beacon of faith, humility, and service. Her commitment to her faith and family serves as a testament to the values of resilience and dedication.

 

“Dr. Chief Sunday Adeyemo Igboho acknowledges the deep pain of losing a beloved mother, a pain that words can scarcely soothe. He prays for God’s comfort to surround Oba Francis Alao, the royal family, and all who mourn this irreplaceable loss.

 

“He also extends his prayers for strength and unity within the family as they honor the life and memory of a virtuous woman who touched many lives.

 

“As we grieve this monumental loss, let us find solace in the knowledge that Mama Alao has completed her divine mission on earth and now rests in the loving arms of the Almighty. May her gentle soul continue to find peace in the eternal presence of our Lord.
