The Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, has felicitated with the Oyo State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Hon. Ademola Ojo, on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as a seasoned politician and an astute grassroots mobilizer.
In a statement, Rt. Hon. Ogundoyin lauded the contributions of Hon. Ademola Ojo to the development of Oyo State, especially through his office as Commissioner, where he has continued to strengthen local governance and traditional institutions across the state.
The Speaker, who is also the Chairman, Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures in Nigeria, noted that Hon. Ojo’s wealth of experience in politics and administration has made him a dependable figure in the current administration of Governor Seyi Makinde.
“Today, I celebrate a loyal party man, a brilliant administrator, and a political bridge-builder whose life has been marked by commitment to the progress of Oyo State. Hon. Ademola Ojo is one of the solid pillars of the PDP in my zone and especially in our state, and his role in ensuring peace and development at the local government level is commendable,” Ogundoyin said.
He prayed for long life, strength, and continued wisdom for Hon. Ademola Ojo, urging him not to relent in his service to the people and to the government of Oyo State.
“On behalf of the entire Oyo State House of Assembly, our people in Ibarapaland, I wish you a joyous birthday celebration and greater exploits in the years ahead,” the Speaker concluded.
