Ondo diasporians endorse Ayedatiwa, says gov’nor committed to transforming state

Indigenes of Ondo State in the diaspora under the aegis of Ondo State Indigenes in Diaspora (OSID) has endorsed the re-election of governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa in the November 16 election in the state.

 

OSID comprising professionals and community members from Canada, United Kingdom, Europe, Asia and the United States of America said the endorsement of Ayedatiwa was based on his records of success and achievements since he was sworn in as governor of the state last December.

 

The diaspora group stated in a statement jointly signed by all the leaders that Governor Ayedatiwa has taken a bold step in ensuring that Ondo state is on the right track.

 

OSID added also that the governor has been working tirelessly to improve the lives of the people in the state, highlighting the significant increase in the salaries of the Ondo state civil servants

 

“The governor is the most qualified leader to continue the Ondo State’s forward-moving momentum. He has also succeeded in warming himself into the hearts of the people.

 

“He is paying N73,000 as the minimum wage,which is the highest in the Southwest region now. This is a reflection of his vision and dedication to the welfare of the people of the state.

 

“In the last 10 months, our amiable governor has improved the state ‘s infrastructure projects, healthcare and economic development policies that centred on people’s welfare.

 

“We also believe in his visionary leadership that makes him the ideal candidate to continue with the good work that guarantees a brighter future for the state.

 

“So, as the election approaches,we urge all the citizens of Ondo State to vote and participate peacefully in this critical democratic process. We urge every eligible voter to consider Governor Aiyedatiwa’s record and OSID’s endorsement when choosing their next leader. His commitment to progress, stability, and inclusive growth sets a strong foundation for Ondo State’s future.

 

“We remain very committed to supporting leaders who prioritize good governance, sustainable growth, and social equity. We are confident that Governor Aiyedatiwa embodies these values and is the best candidate to guide Ondo State forward.

 

“This endorsement reflects our dedication to a prosperous Ondo State that serves the needs of its citizens at home and abroad.

 

“Since its inception,OSID has been empowering Ondo State professionals and community members worldwide.

 

“We have been contributing to Ondo State’s socio-economic and political development.Through advocacy, partnerships, and community initiatives, we have been supporting projects that foster growth, education, and economic stability in the state”.

 

OSID was represented by ex diplomat United Nations Global Chairman, Professor Salewa Olafioye (USA) who is also the President, Nigerian in Diaspora Think Tank (NDTT), Vice Chairman, Prince Apesinola Joshua (Canada), Global chairman APC, Hon Tunde Doherty (UK),
