Notable Nigerians for Fellowship Awards as OYSCATECH holds 2nd Combined Convocation March 22

The Rector, Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora, Prof Akinola Akinlabi on behalf of the Management hereby invites the general public and the 2016/2017, 2017/2018, 2018/2019, 2019/2020, 2020/2021, 2021/2022 and 2022/2023 Graduands of Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora to the 2nd Combined Convocation and 17th Founder’s Day Ceremonies for the Award of National Diploma, Higher National Diploma, presentation of prizes and conferment of Fellowship Awards on Graduands and distinguished Personalities on Friday, 22nd March, 2024 at the 800 Seater Hall of the Institution.

 

According to a an internal memorandum signed by the Registrar of the Institution, Mr. R. F. A. Adeniji, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, and the Visitor, Engr. Seyi Makinde is the Special Guests of Honour, while the Honourable Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Saliu Abdulwaheed Adelabu and the Governing Council Chairman, Prof. Lateef Sanni are expected to grace the occasion.

 

The Registrar revealed that notable Nigerians who have distinguished themselves in their various careers and contributed immensely to nation building will be conferred with the prestigious Fellowship Awards of Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora.

 

Meanwhile, the programme will also feature Convocation Lecture titled; Agriculture and Economic Diversification: The Role of Tertiary Institution, to be delivered by Prof. Abiodun Musa Aibinu, Vice Chancellor, Summit University, Offa, Kwara State.

 

Graduands are expected to be seated by 8. 30am before the academic procession by 8.45am to the 800 Seater Hall of the Institution while payment for convocation and certificate can be accessed by logging to the college portal, graduations.oyscatech.edu.ng.
