The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo state, Alhaji Olayide Abas, has lamented the late Friday night fire incident which ravaged the Music House property belonging to Dr. Yinka Ayefele, describing it as sad and unfortunate.

Corenews reports that fire broke out, at the wee hours of Friday, in the building which harbored broadcasting studios of Fresh FM, Blast FM and Tiwa-n-tiwa FM owned by Ayefele.

The property, which is located in Challenge Area of Ibadan- the state capital, was badly affected before the fire was put out by fire fighters and some good Samaritans.

In a statement issued on Sunday, Alh. Abas said he received the news of the fire incident with sadness “as it happened at a time when the attention of all and sundry was on the forthcoming 10th anniversary of the revolutionary Fresh FM, Ibadan radio station.

“As much as we, at Oyo APC, sympathise with Dr. Ayefele, the entire staff and fans of his broadcast and music establishments, we use this medium to express our gratitude to God Almighty, as the incident did not claim any human life. Our thoughts and prayers are with Dr. Ayefele at this trying moment even as we are optimistic that the Music House will bounce back better in outlook and component sooner than later.” Abas added.
