Oyo state Governor Seyi Makinde has approved the coronation and presentation of staff of office to three traditional rulers in the state
The Commissioner for Information, Prince Dotun Oyelade made the disclosure in a statement on Wednesday.
He gave the names of the traditional rulers to include; Oba Sakiru Oyewole Akanni Oyelere, the Onifiditi of Fiditi who will be presented with the Staff of Office and coronated on Wednesday, 3rd July 2024.
On Friday 5th July, 2024, Oba Cornelius Abiola Taiwo Oladokun will be coronated and presented with the staff of office as the Alaawe of Awe.
While the coronation of the Elempe of Tapa, Oba Titiloye Oyekanmi Sunday will take place on Monday July 8, 2024 and will be presented the Staff of Office
Recall that the Seyi Makinde administration has since inception five years ago installed and coronated more that thirty Obas and Baales across the state.l
