Late Olubadan: I lost a father, Adeolu Akande mourns

Former Chairman of the Nigerian Communication Commission (NCC), Professor Adeolu Akande has commiserated with all sons, daughters and residents of Ibadanland over the demise of the 42nd Olubadan, Oba Mohood Olalekan Balogun.

 

Professor Akande in a condolence message expressed sadness over the loss of the highly revered Olubadan.

 

“I commiserate with the Olubadan-in-Council as well as sons and daughters of Ibadanland over the demise of our highly referred Oba. With his passage, I have lost a father, guardian and teacher.

 

”I related with Baba for over four decades and I have no shred of doubt that he lived a fulfilled life. I pray that God grant him eternal rest and be with the family he left behind.”
