Oyo State Police Command have released five of the suspects arrested in connection with Ibadan Funfair Tragedy that led to the death of 35 children at the Islamic High School, Orita Basorun Ibadan.
But, other suspects including ex-wife of the Ooni of Ife, Naomi Silekunola, the owner of Ibadan based radio station, Agidigbo FM, Oriyomi Hazmat and the Principal of the school, Fasasi Abdulahi will be arraign today
The list of the released detainees include; Genesis Christopher, ’m’ age 24yrs, Tanimowo Moruf,’m’ age 52yrs, Anisolaja Olabode, ‘m’ age 42yrs, Idowu Ibrahim, ‘m’ age 35yrs and Abiola Oluwatimilehin, ’m’ age 25yrs.
It was gathered that the suspects regained their freedom on Monday.
A source who confirmed the development said the trio, will be in court on Tuesday.
It was gathered that, Hamzat, was arrested on his hospital bed, and will be among those that will be in court today.
