The Ajumose Marines – a body of political appointees who served under Senator Abiola Ajimobi as Governor of Oyo State from 2011 – 2019 have expressed their heartfelt condolences to Dr Florence Ajimobi and the Ajimobi and Kola-Daisi families at large on the passing on of the eldest child of their principal, Bisola Kola – Daisi, at the unripe age of 42.
A former Secretary to the State Government, Mr Olalekan Alli, speaking on behalf of the group, expressed the pervading shock and dismay amongst members upon hearing the sad news of her passing Thursday morning.
Allí noted that Bisola’s death coming at a time when her mother and wife of former Governor Ajimobi was just adjusting to and coming to terms with the death of her husband, is a very devastating occurrence.
“Death is a debt we all owe but this one is too sudden as she was cut down in her prime. For us it is a bitter pill to swallow and are in a state of shock with this sad development.
“This was totally unexpected and we are numbed by the news. Our prayer is for the peaceful rest of her soul and that Almighty God in his infinite mercy should comfort the Ajimobi and Daisi families.”
Bisola Kola-Daisi, the eldest child of the late former Governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi, died in the United Kingdom on Thursday morning. She was married to Kolapo Kola – Daisi with three children and worked with Minister of Budget and Planning, Atiku Bagudu as Special Adviser.
