AfDB boss hails Edun on support at investiture

The President, African Development Bank, Dr Akinwunmi Adesina has commended the Founder and Managing Director, Daniel Ford International London, UK, Mr. Yemi Edun for the support at his recent investiture in Kenya.

Recall that, the AfDB was recently awarded the Chief of the Order of the Golden Heart, CGH, Kenya’s highest national honor and distinction.

The honor was conference by the Kenya’s President, William Ruto.

Expressing his appreciation for the support and presence, in a letter, he personally signed, Dr Adesina lauded Edun’s gesture noting that it would always be cherished.

The letter reads in part, “I wish to express to you my most sincere appreciation and gratitude for your taking the time from your busy schedules to join us in Kenya on my investiture by His Excellency President William Ruto with the award of the Chief of the Order of the Golden Heart, CGH, Kenya’s highest national honor and distinction.

“I wish to especially thank you for joining my dear wife, Grace and I and attending the landmark event at the State House, Kenya.

“Your personal presence and support meant so much to us.

“My wife and I will always cherish the wonderful time we shared together on this auspicious occasion. Once again, thank you very much for your love, sacrifice, support and the shared warm and joyful memories.

“May God bless you with all bountifulness.

Please accept the assurances of my deepest appreciation and esteem.”
