A leading property development company in Nigeria, Adron Homes has launched the 2024 edition of its sport fiesta, tagged Adron Games.
With the theme, “Fit to be the Biggest”, the firm said the event planned to be the first workers Olympic games in the world will hold at the Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Adamasingba, Ibadan between September 29-30, 2024.
The sports fiesta which will have participants from all the branches and work stations of the firm from across the country will feature football, basketball, volleyball, indoor games as well as track and field events.
The unveiling of the Adron Games logo, theme and event outline held on Tuesday at the Adron Towers, Molete, Ibadan.
The event was attended by top management staff of the firm including the Managing Director, Mrs Adenike Ajobo, DCE Tola Alonge, DG Ihuoma Azuru among others.
Nigeria Super Eagles legends, Mutiu Adepoju and Daniel Amokachi who were Ambassadors of the game were also present at the event.
Speaking at the unveiling, the Chairman/Chief Executive Officer, Adron Groups Aare Adetola Emmanuelking said the Games has become more than just a sports competition but has become a symbol of unity, wellness, and excellence – principles that lie at the heart of everything done at Adron Group.
Represented by the MD, Mrs Adenike Ajobo, the firm boss emphasised that the significance of the Games is the coming together to celebrate not just competition but camaraderie, hard work, and the pursuit of greatness.

Also speaking, Mutiu Adepoju commended the firm for the initiative noting that sport makes fit and unite people together.
In his own remarks, Daniel Amokachi said the government needs to take a cue from what Adron is doing while also calling for more sponsorship for sports in the country.
He noted that the games have the potential to discover more talents that can be useful for the country noting that if well harnessed, the Adron Games is a replica of the National Sports Festivals for workers in the country.
