Hajj 2024: 550 first batch Oyo intending pilgrims departs Nigeria for Saudi Arabia

The Chairman, Oyo State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Muslim Wing, Sheikh Hashim Atere, has admonished the intending Pilgrims from Oyo state to cooperate with their team leaders as the first batch set for airlift, Saturday night.

 

Sheikh Atere, while speaking on the arrangements of the board for the 550 intending pilgrims to Saudi Arabia at the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State (BCOS), Ibadan, harped on the need for them to take to instructions and directives from their team leaders.

He noted that the team leaders are representatives of the board; hence, there is a need for them to accord them necessary respect and see such information as one that emanated from his office.

 

He called on them to comport themselves at the airport and Saudi Arabia for them to become a point of reference for others.

While applauding the intending pilgrims for their orderliness during the Farewell done in the mid-week, Sheikh Atere urged them to forward complaints and challenges they might come across underneath to the appropriate quarters, promising that all complaints would be attended to promptly.
