A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Oyo State, Engineer Oyedele Hakeem Alao (aka Allow Alao), has extended heartfelt felicitations to the wife of late Governor Abiola Ajimobi, Dr. (Mrs.) Florence Ajimobi, on the occasion of her 65th birthday.
Alao in a congratulatory message by his Media Office, lauded the former First Lady’s exemplary character, describing her as a virtuous woman and a strong pillar behind her husband.
He said Mrs. Ajimobi remains a great source of inspiration to the womenfolk not only in Oyo State but all over the country, stating that she is an icon whose milk of kindness has continued even after her tenure as First Lady in Oyo State.
According to him, as a wife who holds tenaciously to the memory of her husband Mrs. Ajimobi has continued to hold aloft the political legacy of late Senator Ajimobi, noting she is a wife and mother that the Abiola family will continue to cherish.
He said, “I want to join the teeming admirers and well wishers of the former First Lady of Oyo State and wife of our Leader, late Senator Abiola Ajimobi, Dr. (Mrs.) Florence Ajimobi, as she clocks 65 years in the land of the living.
“Mrs. Ajimobi deserves to be celebrated because apart from being a strong pillar behind the successes that could be ascribed to our great Leader, she is a role model to the womenfolk whose imprints while in and out of office have remained indelible.
“I wish our dear former First Lady many more years in the land of the living in good health, peace of mind and sustained prosperity.”
