Oyo IPAC gets new excos

The National leadership of the Inter-party Advisory Council has inaugurated the newly elected Executives for Oyo State IPAC, Otunba Adegbenro Fagbemi as Chairman and other members of the executives.

 

The representative of the national body, Mrs Chinyere from Zenith Labour, the National IPAC PRO who were in Ibadan to conduct the election at the INEC Secretariat in Ibadan said the members of IPAC in Oyo state are well organised and matured.

 

The Chairman Electoral Committee who led a team of APC representative, Mr Olawale Sadare and Labour Party representative to conduct Oyo State IPAC election, ensured that the process was free and fair, noted that everyone followed the laid down rules and regulations according to IPAC code of conduct.

 

The election started with screening of electorate which has representatives from all registered 19 political parties. Five office was contested for including: State Chairman; Deputy Chair; General Secretary; Publicity Secretary and treasurer, while the remaining 4 offices, legal adviser, Assistant Gen. Sec, Financial Secretary and Organising Secretary were concluded by affirmation.

The newly elected positions are clinched by Otunba Adegbenro Fagbemi – APM (Chairman), Mr. Adeniyi Christopher – APGA (Dep. Chairman), Mr. Akinade Opeyemi – NRM (Secretary), Mr. Dario Olayinka Olajide – ACCORD (Asst secretary), Mr. Hammed Abimbola – ZLP (Treasurer), Mr. Adeyemi Adedeji – YPP (Org. Secretary) Engr. Omogbeminiyi Ayodele – BOOT PARTY ( PRO), Mr. Kolapo Gbemileke- Adeyemi – A.A (Fin Sec.), and Barrister Adelowo Elijah – ADC (Legal Adviser).

 

The newly elected chairman while speaking appreciated members of IPAC in Oyo State for giving him the opportunity to drive the council in the state for the next two years, saying that his emergence would not have been successful if there was no support from the members.

 

He promised the people of Oyo State that under his leadership, IPAC will be well coordinated and deliver on the expectations of the council in the state.

 

He said there will be peaceful co-existence among political parties and the state government will also find IPAC in the state giving the necessary support to the government.
