Chairman, Nigerian Governors Forum, Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq and his Oyo State counterpart, Governor Seyi Makinde on Wednesday paid a condolence visit to the Ibadan residence of late Ondo State governor Rotimi Akeredolu.

The duo arrived the Jericho residence of the later governor at about 5:30PM.

Upon arrival, the two governors went straight into the private residence where some immediate family members were mourning.

The presence of journalist to cover the visit generated a negative reaction from some children of the deceased who ordered all the journalists to vacate the residence on the ground that it was a private residence and not government House.

Swift intervention of some colleagues calmed the frayed nerves as the reporters who had laid siege at the entrance gates of the residence to monitor situation felt angry at the negative reaction.

Apparently sensing what had happened, the two governors after the visit walked out to the street where the journalists had waited to get a reaction and comment on the visit.
