Director of Academic Planning at Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology (OYSCATECH), Dr. Olubunmi Adeosun will deliver the institution’s 2nd Inaugural Lecture.
The lecture, titled “From Harvest to Plate; the Journey of the Pearls of the Waters,” will take place on November 5, 2025, at 12:00 noon, under the chairmanship of the Rector, Prof. Akinola Akinlabi.
The event aims to bring together scholars, researchers, and industry professionals from within and outside the institution to discuss advancements in fisheries and food technology.
Dr. Adeosun’s extensive research work and professional contributions in the field of fisheries management will be highlighted during the lecture.
Dr. Adeosun is a distinguished academic with over 40 publications in local and international journals.
She has supervised 38 National Diploma and Higher National Diploma students and holds various leadership positions in professional organizations, including the Fisheries Society of Nigeria and the Association of Nigeria Fisheries Scientists.
The lecture promises to provide valuable insights into Dr. Adeosun’s research voyages and contributions to the field of fisheries management, making it a significant event for academics, researchers, and industry stakeholders.
