A leading governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Dr Adewale Kolapo Kareem (AKK) has unveiled his 20-Point people’s agenda, which he described as a bold blueprint for a new Oyo.
According to him, the state stands at a defining crossroads, with challenges visible in its schools, economy, security architecture, and daily struggles.
The agenda prioritizes fully funded education for every child, restoring teachers’ dignity, and introducing parental support incentives. It also focuses on job creation through innovation and enterprise, women empowerment, and youth development.
Kareem’s plan includes security reform, healthcare overhaul, agricultural transformation, and infrastructure development which he promises digital governance, economic diversification, and civil service reform.
The aspirant emphasizes social welfare, poverty reduction, and leadership with integrity. His agenda includes urban renewal, housing development, and rural development.
Kareem’s 20-point plan aims to reposition Oyo State as a true Pace Setter. He believes governance must be rooted in trust, transparency, and accountability.
The agenda includes specific initiatives such as modernizing agriculture, supporting farmers, and building agro-processing hubs. It also promises to bridge the gap between schooling and employment.
He said his vision for Oyo state is built on a foundation of prosperity, dignity, and opportunity for all, as he invites Oyo residents to join him in building a brighter future.
The aspirant’s plan is not just a collection of promises, but a contract with the people of Oyo state, as he noted that every policy has been carefully thought out and every priority clearly defined.
With the state is known as the Pace Setter. Kareem said his agenda aims to live up to that name, not just in history, but in action, saying thag the future is now, and he is ready to lead.
