The first one hundred days of Professor (Mrs.) Ebunoluwa Olufemi Oduwole’s administration as Vice Chancellor of the Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo, stand out as a period marked by clarity of vision, purposeful leadership, and visible institutional reawakening.

Within a remarkably short time, her tenure has demonstrated that leadership can be both humane and transformative, combining intellectual depth with practical action.

Central to this early success is her well-articulated agenda, which provides a coherent roadmap for academic excellence, administrative efficiency, ethical governance, staff and student welfare, infrastructural development, and sustainable growth. What makes this agenda unique is not merely its ambition, but the speed and sincerity with which it is being translated into action.

Particularly noteworthy is the “Green Ajayi Crowther University” policy, which has emerged as a defining signature of her administration. This policy goes beyond symbolism to embody a philosophy of environmental responsibility, community engagement, and sustainable living. By foregrounding environmental consciousness, the Vice Chancellor has repositioned Ajayi Crowther University as a forward-looking institution that aligns academic life with global best practices on climate action and ecological stewardship.

The environmental sanitation walk that held to mark her first 100 Days in office on Saturday, 10th January 2026, in respect of which members of the university joyfully participated, is a powerful illustration of this vision. It reinforces the idea that a clean, healthy, and green campus is a shared responsibility – one that fosters discipline, unity, and pride in the institution. Such an initiative not only enhances the physical environment of the university but also inculcates values of civic duty and sustainability in staff and students alike.

As the university marks this symbolic milestone, the Ajayi Crowther University community celebrates a Vice Chancellor whose early strides inspire confidence and hope. Professor (Mrs.) Ebunoluwa Olufemi Oduwole, FNAL, has set a tone of excellence, responsibility, and renewal that promises enduring impact.

Encomiums are, therefore, due to her visionary leadership, uncommon dedication, and courageous commitment to sustainable development and institutional progress.

We extend our warmest goodwill wishes to her as she continues this noble journey, praying for wisdom, strength, sound health, and resounding success in the remaining days of her five-year tenure, for the greater glory of Ajayi Crowther University and humanity at large.
