Oyo @50: Makinde appoints ex-Reps member, Fijabi, others into anniversary committee

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo state has appointed a former Member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Saheed Akinade Fijabi, as the chairman of the Oyo State at 50 Anniversary Committee.

The governor, in a letter signed by his Chief of Staff, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi, announced the appointment of the 11-member committee, on Monday.

Other members of the committee include a former Head of Service of the state, Alhaja Ololade Agboola (Deputy Chairman); Dr Z.O. Ajuwon, Mustapha Razaq Areo; Alhaja Fatimah Ololade Azeez; S.A. Adejumo; and Pastor John Olasunkanmi Alabi.

Other members of the committee are Alhaji A.K. Bello; Mrs Ronke Adedayo (Secretary); CP Fatai Owoseni (rtd) and the Director General of Protocol, Mr Samuel Badejo.

According to the letter, the appointment is with immediate effect.
