Oyo Speaker, Ogundoyin Mourns Father of Hon. Adepoju ‘Ibarapakan’

The Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of the father of Hon. Adepoju Adebayo, popularly known as ‘Ibarapakan’, who represents Ibarapa Central/North Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.

In a condolence message issued on Thursday, Rt. Hon. Ogundoyin described the death of Pa Adepoju, who passed away at the age of 89, as a significant loss not only to the Adepoju family but to the entire Ibarapaland.

According to the Speaker, Baba Adepoju was a man of honor and integrity, widely respected for his values, humility, and lifelong commitment to community development.

“On behalf of the Oyo State House of Assembly and the good people of Ibarapaland, I extend my heartfelt condolences to my brother, Hon. Adepoju Ibarapakan, and the entire Adepoju family on the passing of their beloved patriarch,”.

“Baba lived a long, impactful life and was a moral compass to many within our community. His legacy of uprightness, wisdom, and service to humanity will forever remain with us.”

The Speaker urged Hon. Adepoju and his family to take solace in the rich and meaningful life their father lived, adding that his memory will continue to inspire generations.

He prayed for the peaceful repose of the late Pa Adepoju’s soul and asked God to strengthen the family during this time of grief.
