A pan-Yoruba group, ‘Afenifere Ipinle Oyo’ has commended governor Seyi Makinde on his achievement in the state since the beginning of his second tenure as governor of Oyo state.
The group said the state has witnessed tremendous progress and developement since May 29, 2023, when the governor assumed office for a second term.
A statement by it’s Publicity Secetrary, Remi Adegbola stated that within a year, Makinde’s administration has succeeded in the completion of Gate-Alakia-Adegbayi road, inauguration of Iseyin Campus of LAUTECH, and completion of Ogbomoso-Iseyin express road..
Others are: rehabilitation of Olodo bridge, restoration of unfettered security network, adequate intra and inter city transit system through Omititun 2.0 buses, to mention just a few.
The statement added, “Work on the on-going Circular Road construction with determination aimed at making life more abundant for the people within and outside Oyo State.
“This is a landmark achievement that defied three previous administrations. Governor Seyi Makinde is indeed the great reformer Oyo State has long been waiting for.
“Afenifere Ipinle Oyo appreciates the Governor’s selfless but relentless efforts to take Oyo State to greater heights.
“We celebrate these achievements and prays for more wisdom and strength for His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde.”
